MESSAGE FROM THE CRYPT
...to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ...- Philippians 1:10

It's easy to pass the buck and blame other. I, for one, am very guilty of this. Little did I realize that everytime I point my finger at others, it's tantamount to throwing stones at Jesus' face. The following words were written on the tomb of an Angelican Bishop in the Crypts Of Westminster Abbey:

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change. So I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country. But it, too, seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years, on one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family; those closest to me. But, alas, they would have none of it. And now, as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only CHANGED myself first, then by example, I would have changed my family. From their inspiration and encouragement, l would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world. Misyel U.

REFLECTION:
Blaming others? Time to look at the mirror.

I will not cast the first stone. I admit before You, Lord, that I am a sinner

St. Amicus,
pray for us.
