EDSA REVOLUTION
I tell you, to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. -Luke 19: 26

And then it happened, it was the EDSA Revolution. Fear gripped our hearts and then it was over and victory overwhelmed everyone. But it was a long way to recovery for the nation. What with the Cory Administration besieged with mutiny after mutiny, hard times fell on our family. Our small business which was located at EDSA collapsed and we had to close shop. With six children in school, we were barely able to make both ends meet. With debts mounting, we had to make a very painful decision. We had to sell our property and start anew but, most of all , see our children through college.

Now, as we look back, we realize that God hasn't abandoned us after all. He has taken away but He has given us something better. Five of our children have finished college and already have jobs. Two are married and we're blessed with three grandchildren. Bonus? Isn't God wonderful? Eric A.

REFLECTION:
Think of all the storms that you have weathered in your life. Can you see God's hand holding yours through it all?

Let me hold
fast to You specially during times of trial knowing that You won't let go of my hand.

St. Philemon and,
Apphia, martyrs,

pray for us.
