LIVING WATER
I have the strength for everything through Him who empowers me . - Philippians 4: 13

One particularly difficult day, I realized I needed a lot of people: my husband and my children, the yaya to help with the children, a draftsman and an engineer, a gas range technician, a driver, the househelp, the pedia, my Mom, etc. And I thought I was independent. This particular day, things just didn't work out right. When finally I decided I needed to talk, my husband was in a meeting, and my Mom was out.

Then, just then, I got the blues. I just felt sad all over for no exact reason. I just sat there and felt sorry for myself, feeling abandoned, and the wind puffed from my wings. That's when I took a bath. The Waters wiped out my tears, restoring my spirit. I soaked in His compassion and felt comforted. I scrubbed away the grime, making my face glow in His love. I put on the fragrance of His Word to chase away whatever stubborn blues remained. He then enveloped me with His presence... then I knew that even when all else fails, He won't. And I'm never, ever alone again. After all, my Father is with me. Arlene U.

REFLECTION:
Remember the times when the Father just stayed with you.

Abba, perfect Father, I know You are always with me.
